SAFETY & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY FOR ALL TYPES OF CANDLE

Never burn any candle for longer than 2 hours at a time, snuff out and when candle is cool trim wick and re-light.

•  Always take heed of the labels and warnings with the candle
•  Never leave burning candles unattended
•  Make certain the candle is upright before lighting and in a holder that cannot fall over easily
•  Always place candles well away from flammable items such as curtains and furniture
•  Keep candles away from clothes and hair
•  Do not move candles when lit or when wax is still liquid
•  Remove all packaging before use
•  Burn out of reach of children and pets
•  Put out candles with a candle snuffer - do not blow them out and never use water to snuff out a candle
•  Ensure candles are placed at least 10cm / 4 inches apart and allow headroom above the candle for the heat to disperse
•  Candles should be burned in an area free from draughts
•  Trim wick to 6mm / 1/4 inch before lighting and re-lighting. If the candle smokes snuff out and trim the wick

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALESIA BARRY CANDLES

Soy wax candles can be cleaned by using a luke warm damp cloth, simply wipe off any dust or marks.

Crystals should be dusted lightly with a soft natural bristle paint brush. Avoid touching the crystals with your fingers as it will leave print marks on them.

Do not burn pillar candles for more than 2 hours at a time, keep wick centred and trim to 1cm / 1/2 inch. This will allow a hole to burn through the centre of the candle leaving the decorated outer intact.
